DIKE — What was once an underused downtown building has become a place where Angie Koop and Laura Dove hope people will linger, connect and help strengthen the Dike community.

Joyful Java Coffee Shop, 568 Main St., opened in 2025 following an extensive renovation aided by $100,000 through the state's Community Catalyst Building Remediation program.
