The BCLUW volleyball team, ranked No. 11 in the IGHSAU preseason poll
in Class 1A, opened the season with a pair of wins in a triangular at South
Hardin on August 27.

After dropping the first set of their match against South Hardin 25-17, the
Comets rallied in the second to win 22-14 to force a third a decisive set.
