WATERLOO – Freshman Karina Arvizu-Ersland had a hat trick last Tuesday as the Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck girls soccer team topped Columbus Catholic 5-0 in Waterloo.
The Rebels (3-1-1) led 2-0 at halftime before adding three insurance goals in the second half. Prycely Beard and Addie Geerdes added goals for GCGC while Kali Aldrich had two assists and Alya Baer one.
GCGR hosted Union Tuesday and hosts Dike-New Hartford Thursday before playing Waterloo West at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex Friday.
