Wanda was born October 13, 1926 in Province of Saskatchewan, Canada to Elmer and Mary (Naylor) Anderson. She married Raymond Brockman on November 24, 1948 in Nipawin Saskatchewan, Canada . Wanda enjoyed being a mother and wife. She loved sewing, baking, and coffee time with neighbors and friends. Wanda also enjoyed attending activities her children and grandchildren were in. She loved them all so much. She loved entertaining, cooking and inviting her friends over to play cards and other games while having lots of laughs together. Her favorite thing to bake was her famous homemade dinner rolls which everyone enjoyed at the many family dinners she would plan to make. This recipe was passed on from her mother and now on to future generations. She loved being in the kitchen baking and cooking. Wanda became famous as the pie lady of Beaman where her husband Raymond and children moved to from Canada in 1962. Everyone loved the many pies she would make for Bingo nights and auctions at the Legion Hall. Wanda and Raymond loved to dance and that was their first date together. They would go to dances whenever they could and loved to polka, waltz, and square dance. Wanda enjoyed staying home with her children and being a wonderful and loving wife to her husband. Besides loving to cook and bake she loved to knit the many hats and gloves, scarves and sweaters for loved ones and friends. She also learned to crochet. She loved her church and participating and helping with activities. She also loved her longtime collection of 54 teddy bears.
