Tuesday's boys basketball roundup: Rebel comeback clips Comets

REINBECK – The Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys basketball team found opportunities to chip away at BCLUW's lead in the second half of a 51-44 come-from-behind victory for the Rebels at Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School.

G-R improved to 5-0. Dylan Riffey scored 19 points to lead the Rebels.

DIKE-NEW HARTFORD 60, JESUP 44: The Wolverines were the better shooting, rebounding and ball control team in a victory at Dike-New Hartford High School.

Dane Fuller scored 22 points to lead all scorers, his fourth game with 20 or more points in five attempts. Derek Kinney added 16 points and 11 rebounds. AJ Wegener had eight points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals.

AGWSR 60, EAST MARSHALL 45: The Cougars closed strong in the NICL West triumph at AGWSR High School.

AGWSR bettered its record to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the division.

Luke Starr led the Cougars with 23 points on 7-of-16 shooting, including 7-of-10 made free throws. The Cougars shot 13-of-20 as a team from the charity stripe.
