Six new members inducted into National Honors Society

GRUNDY CENTER – The Maggie Gray Chapter of the National Honor Society at Grundy Center High School inducted six new members during the chapter’s 90th Induction Ceremony last Friday.
New members Marissa Brown, Andrea Johnson, Brianna Heltibridle, Josh Kuiper, Olivia Opheim and Hannah Stahl each signed their names into the school’s N.H.S. Register.
These students join existing members Finn Cleveland, Eli Harberts, Dylan Hendricks, Jesper Holke-Farnam, Tiana Saak, Alexa Strickler, Jacob Waltersdorf and Mellina Wrage.
Together, the group makes up 14 of the 934 GCHS students inducted into the Maggie Gray Chapter since the first induction ceremony on February 9 of 1927.
During this year’s ceremony, students explained the history of NHS, and particularly the significance of this year’s ceremony being the 90th year of NHS at Grundy Center.
