MORRISON – Every year, the Grundy County Heritage Museum grounds in Morrison come alive for the Pioneer Craft Fair, with plenty of fun, food and entertainment for all ages.
This year’s Craft Fair is Sunday, September 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will feature a variety of past favorites and fun, new activities including: beekeeping and honey, crocheting, gold mining, butter churning, fireplace stew, a treasure hunt in the hay, railroad rides, a scavenger hunt, pony rides, a petting zoo and more.
Grundy County Conservation Director Kevin Williams says to plan for great weather, and a day of fun for the whole family at the museum grounds.
“Thirty-seven years of experience shows us that the second Sunday of September promises great weather and we expect no different for this Sunday” Williams said. “The Historical Collections of Grundy County and the Conservation Board invite young and old alike to come enjoy the kids activities, food, and demonstrations on the museum grounds and out at the Buckskinner camp.”
