Grundy County Pork donates to Operation Threshold

Grundy County Pork Producers donated 50 pork loin packages to Operation Threshold for Grundy County. The loins will be part of Easter dinner baskets distributed to families in the area. Also included in the baskets are canned vegetables, nuts, desserts and candy from the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
The pork donation was funded by the Pork in the Pantry Program sponsored by the Iowa Pork Producers Association along with support from Brothers Market in Grundy Center. The Pork in the Pantry Program also provided 20 pounds of ground pork packages, purchased from Trunck’s Country Foods, to the Reinbeck Food Pantry, housed in the Union Congregational United Church of Christ.
