Friday's boys basketball roundup: Starr scores 24 but Cougars fall
HUDSON – AGWSR boys basketball couldn't quite keep pace with Hudson in a 51-43 loss at Hudson High School.
Luke Starr scored 24 points on 7-of-18 shooting to lead the Cougars, including 9-of-9 free throws, and added 10 rebounds. Jaden Penning contributed nine points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals. AGWSR fell to 2-4 overall.
JANESVILLE 65, BCLUW 43: The Wildcats made 25 of 41 field goal attempts (61 percent), including five of 15 3-pointer attempts. Wiley Sherburne led Janesville with 18 points. BCLUW fell to 2-6 overall.
