G-R student-athlete honored at state basketball

Caleb Egesdal, a senior at Gladbrook-Reinbeck, was recognized before Friday’s Class 1A state championship game as the 1A recipient of the Iowa Bankers Association Student-Athlete Achievement Award. The award is presented to the one student-athlete in each class that excels on the court, in the classroom and in the community. Egesdal was a member of G-R’s state-qualifying boys basketball team.
