Into the Wild: BCLUW students explore Wolf Creek Park as part of health initiative

The normally idyllic and serene Wolf Creek Park just east of Beaman got a whole lot louder on Friday morning as a group of energetic BCLUW elementary school students invaded the area for a nature walk in conjunction with Iowa’s Healthiest State Initiative.
           
“At the elementary level, our goal is to share with our students the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, including exercise.  The Fall Walk is a fun way for us to share our goal with our students, as well as to help them see part of the awesome walking and bike trail we have access to in Conrad and Beaman,” Principal Mitch Parker said.
