Letter to the editor

I was driving through Main Street in Conrad early the other morning. It was a mild morning, and there were no cars or people around. It was still dark, and the lights in all the business windows up and down the street looked amazing! A lot of hard working folks make that happen, but Chuck Friend is responsible for the decorated trees in the Darla Ubben Memorial and for the beautifully decorated trees in the Dorothy King Park. If you haven’t done so yet, take a minute when it’s dark, and walk through the park. It does indeed take a village to keep a town looking beautiful.
