GC/G-R boys experience one stroke win, loss in same week

The Grundy Center/Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys had quite an interesting week as they fell to Dike-New Hartford by a single stroke on Thursday before bouncing back to edge out Roland-Story for the team title at the Spartan Invitational on Saturday.
           
The contest against D-NH on Thursday was a great one as neither team had a member shoot over 50, and the Wolverines eeked out a 165-166 victory. D-NH’s Bo Weissenfluh took medalist honors with a 38, and Royce Weber was the runner-up with a 39. Trev Dumler shot a 43, and Colton Harberts, Ben Freese and Chase Wilson each shot a 45 to round out the varsity lineup.
